Introducing my Nativity Finger Puppets Template

Bring the Christmas story to life with my Nativity Finger Puppets template! Perfect for festive family gatherings, church activities, or educational purposes. Get ready to embark on a joyful journey through the Nativity scene with these adorable and easy-to-assemble puppets.

Hand with five paper finger puppets: colorful characters, including a king and star. Background features Christmas baubles and a potted plant.

Encouraging Imagination and Creativity

Encourage children to use their imagination and creativity as they colour in the characters. Carefully cut them out, and join the tabs together in a circle behind the character using sticky tape. The characters are now ready to sit on the fingers and act out the story of the first Christmas.

Bilingual Availability

The activity is available in both Welsh and English, making it ideal for bilingual church situations. Each version is provided in separate PDFs, allowing you to easily print as many copies as you need of each one. Both templates are in black and white and take up only one page each to help minimize your printing costs.

Considerations for Group Activities

If you plan to do this activity with a group in church, during a service, or as a Sunday School project, consider the ages and abilities of your children. Some might find the cutting out a bit fiddly, so be prepared to assist them once they finish colouring. While you could cut some out beforehand, this may make colouring more challenging for the children, and they might lose some pieces. You will also need to help them sellotape the tabs in place.

The instructions include suggested Bible passages to learn the Nativity story, along with ideas on how to use the activity and adapt it according to your group’s needs.

You Will Need:
